Many people think their pets deserve the star treatment, and it is easier than ever to give it to them thanks to a number of pet products and supplies that have been designed, created or endorsed by some of the most well-known celebrities within and without the dog world. Most dog owners are familiar with Cesar Milan, the "Dog Whisperer" who has a show on the Animal Planet. Milan has risen to fame for his gift in dog obedience and training, but now he has started an empire that includes dog training videos as well as pet supplies such as toys, harnesses, stain removers and other pet-friendly gear. Many of Milan's products are designed with the dog's well-being and behavior in mind - the Dog Whisperer Dog Backpack, for instance, was designed after Milan noticed that many dogs act out because they do not have a "job" to keep them occupied. Other celebrities that we know and love for their culinary or home decor skills are also pumping out pet products, so our furry friends can live just as well and stylishly as we do. Martha Stewart sells everything from craft supplies to linens at large stores like Macy's and Home Depot, but she also sells her stylish pet supplies at PetSmart. From quilted coats to stylish leather harnesses, your pet will be the preppiest on the block with Martha's designs. Rachael Ray is known for cooking delicious meals for humans, but it turns out she can do the same for dogs. She released a wholesome, super premium dog food called Nutrish, and donates all of the proceeds from the sales of the food to her charity, Rachael's Rescue, which goes to help animals in need. Even celebrities who are not known for their skills in the kitchen are supporting nutrition for dogs. Popular talk show host Ellen Degeneres became part owner of natural pet products company Halo after it helped her dog with allergies. While known for its all-natural and nutritious kibble for cats and dogs, the company also sells certain pet supplements, grooming and cleaning supplies for pet owners. Even though most people's dogs will not live like celebrities every day, they can at least be pampered from time to time with the type of toys, food and clothes that are fit for a canine king.
