Dog Breeds HoundThe Hound Group has some of the oldest breeds of dogs. Most of these dog breeds were bred to help man hunt.
This group can be further divided into their method of hunting. Some use a keen sense of smell, so are classified naturally as Scent Hounds. Others, considered Sight Hounds, use their great vision capabilities.
