I have compiled a listing of animal rescue centers and animal shelters in Utah. It is by no means a complete listing, so I invite you to submit one that you are affiliated with. I am passionate about rescuing pets, so have made an exception to the normal submission guidelines for this directory. If the only site your rescue or shelter has is a subdomain or subpage of a larger website (such as petfinder.com or animalshelters.org) I will still approve it, as long as the shelter includes dogs.
Scroll down, and see the four randomly selected dogs available for adoption in Utah, then continue scrolling for a listing of the available shelters.

CAWS animals live in volunteer foster homes until they are adopted. Salt Lake County Animal Services http://www.slcoanimalservices.org/ Euthanasia is an unfortunate reality in the animal services industry. The uncontrolled breeding of animals has led to a much larger animal population than the demand for pets can sustain. Despite our best efforts and those of other animal services organizations, there are simply not enough homes for all the animals, and many have to be put to sleep. 511 W 3900 S Phone: (801) 559-1100 | |
