I have compiled a listing of animal rescue centers and animal shelters in Vermont. It is by no means a complete listing, so I invite you to submit one that you are affiliated with. I am passionate about rescuing pets, so have made an exception to the normal submission guidelines for this directory. If the only site your rescue or shelter has is a subdomain or subpage of a larger website (such as petfinder.com or animalshelters.org) I will still approve it, as long as the shelter includes dogs.
Scroll down, and see the four randomly selected dogs available for adoption in Vermont, then continue scrolling for a listing of the available shelters.

Addison County Humane Society http://addisonhumane.org As the only animal shelter in the county, the Addison County Humane Society works hard to meet the needs of a growing and changing population. Since our inception, we have placed an average of 600 animals each year into loving homes. We serve more animals per resident than nearly any other shelter in the state. Our shelter is No Kill, meaning we never euphonize animals for space. 236 Boardman Street Phone: (802) 388-1100 | |
