Precious Friends Puppy Rescue and Adoption Program

Precious Friends was founded in 1992 by Linda Hutchison. She had a dream of making Clarksville and the surrounding areas free of stray and unwanted puppies. In the past, most of our puppies came from individuals around the Clarksville area. We have spayed so many in this area, that we are now able to take from shelters located in Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, Ohio, Texas, Illinois, Louisiana, Arkansas, Alabama, and Indiana.

Sunny Meadows

Our primary focus is finding safe, loving homes for unwanted, neglected and/or abused animals. Some are owner surrenders, some are strays, and some are rescued from very bad situations. Every pet we rescue gets our full care and any medical treatment needed. Once healthy, they are ready for adoption. If a pet has any behavior issues, we work on those issues as well. All of our pets are full vetted and spayed before adoption

Our pets are rescued from local animal shelters, and placed in foster homes until a permanent home can be found. Although we rescue many breeds, Bassets, Beagles, and Labrador Retrievers are our primary focus. We do not currently have a facility where these pets can be viewed, but once your application has be approved, arrangements can be made to meet the pet.
