A New Beginning Animal Rescue

A New Beginning Animal Rescue, Inc. was founded in 2008 with the intent to rescue a few cats and dogs a year and to find them permanent homes. The vision of ANBAR (A New Beginning Animal Rescue, Inc.) is to give all rescued animals a New Beginning. Many of our animals came from horrible conditions, were rescued from shelters or had been abandoned.

Best Friends Animal Sanctuary

Nearly 30 years ago, Best Friends, an animal welfare society, helped pioneer the no-kill movement. At that time, more than 17 million homeless pets were dying each year in our nation's shelters. By implementing spay/neuter and trap/neuter/return (TNR) programs to reduce the number of animals entering shelters, and increasing the number of people who adopt pets, we've reduced that number to around four million deaths annually.

Community Animal Welfare Society (CAWS)

Community Animal Welfare Society (CAWS) was formed in 1994. We provide animal welfare outreach, including animal rescue and a sliding-income-scale spay / neuter / vaccinate program for pets. We do not have a shelter facility, so we go directly to the people, and the animals in need.

Friends of Animals Utah (FOAU) has found homes for over 12,000 pets. Our retail adoption center, called Furburbia, is located in the Tanger Outlet Mall in Park City, Utah. Each week, FOAU's staff visits animal shelters throughout Utah and rescues healthy adoptable dogs and cats, many from these shelters' euthanasia lists. These rescue animals are then transported daily from the FOAU Rescue & Rehabilitation Ranch facility to Furburbia.
