Listed below are the associations/clubs that have been officially recognized by the American Kennel Club as the Parent Organization for the breeds in the Working group. These sites have a great amount of information specific to the breed they represent, including history, standards, upcoming events, and much more.

If you are interested in a particular breed in the Working group, we highly recommend you visit the site of that breed’s parent organization, and read up as much as you can on them.

The Alaskan Malamute Club of America is the American Kennel Club (AKC) National Breed Club for the Alaskan Malamute. The club has as its main goal the betterment of the breed, and asserts that its membership has an obligation to the Alaskan Malamute breed.
