Since our beginning in 2003, Alaska Dog & Puppy Rescue (ADPR) has rescued and placed nearly 1,000 dogs a year. All of our animals are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, micro chipped, and kept in foster care until the right forever home is found for them.

Friends of Pets

Established in 1989, Friends of Pets provides vital animal welfare and protective services for abandoned animals, with respect, compassion and integrity. We intervene to reduce the euthanasia rates at the Anchorage Animal Care & Control Center, to promote responsible pet ownership and to improve the quality of life for companion animals.
