New Leash on Life rescues from local shelters mainly dogs that are on death row, dogs that have injuries or illnesses. Many of the dogs just need a little TLC, a bath and a good hair cut, and they are as good as new. Others need some antibiotics which clears up kennel cough, runny nose, etc. Too often, these dogs are overlooked and eventually euthanized.
