Ruff Start Rescue is a No-Kill dog and cat rescue organization in Central Minnesota. We rescue stray, neglected, abandoned, and surrendered dogs and cats as well as ferrets, guinea pigs and rabbits. We all work very hard to place them in new loving homes.

Safe Haven Pet Rescue rescues abandoned and unwanted dogs and cats and places unclaimed pets into new, loving homes. Safe Haven does not euthanize except in extreme instances of terminal illness or injury. Safe Haven has rescued and adopted out over 1000 cats and dogs.

Star of the North Humane Society is a foster-based humane society operated entirely by volunteers. Although we do not currently have a shelter, our volunteers help with rescuing and rehoming unwanted companion animals. All the animals taken in by us are placed in foster homes until they can find their new homes.
